Wendi learnt the art of fabric printing in her BVA and developed those skills designing high fashion prints in one of her favourite subject matters - Australian birds. This first silk length below addresses the devastation she felt as a girl when her back shed burnt down. She came home from school to see the magpies picking over the the ashes. The magpie features in many of her works.
